Coconut Rhinoceros Beetle Compliant Businesses

Under the State of Hawaiʻi’s Interim Rule 26-1, businesses and individuals handling coconut rhinoceros beetle host materials (mulch, green waste, potting soil) within the designated infested area of West Hawaiʻi are required to complete CRB best management practices training and hold a signed compliance agreement with the State of Hawaiʻi, Department of Agriculture and Biosecurity (HDAB). Noncompliance can result in fines up to $10,000.
