Description: Woody vines which can grow up to 45′ in length.
Flower: 5 petaled, funnel-shaped, white to lavender.
Leaves: Opposite, thick glossy, dark green with distinct white mid vein.
Fruit: 2-3″ long oval follicle filled with many feathery white seeds.
Elevation: 0-2,100 feet
Impacts: Smother trees and form dense impenetrable thickets. Highly mobile seeds are dispersed by wind and are also able to germinate on lava flows. White sap is toxic.
